Service was exceptional! They even made my kiddo a sub that wasn’t on the menu! We had the multi cheese pizza and it was delicious! I’m very picky about Alfredo sauce, but their sauce was very good! Thanks for a great lunch! Also loved the homemade chips!

The absolute best spaghetti ever!!!! I had just got out of the hospital and this restaurant is right across the street. So convenient! I loved everything. I'll admit it was crowded but everyone was friendly and happy. I needed salt and a young girl at the next table over passed their salt over to me. The tables are very, very close. It's a small restaurant but I'm telling you the food is worth it.

Good food, lots of choices, cute atmosphere, great staff. I had the Avocado Salad - see photo. My friend had the Shrimp Fettuccine. We shared a pita and hummus starter,, and took a (huge) piece of baklava to go. Add two iced teas and it still wasn't even 50 - in these times that was a pretty good deal and the food was great.

We were passing thru Charleston on or way to Ohio and wanted a good meal fast. Sokolatas was the answer. The gyro was excellent as was the Greek salad with gyro meat. Fresh and tasty!

This locally owned restaurant serves excellent Mediterranean food in a casual relaxed dining room. They make their own (delightful) gelato, the salads are large and extremely fresh, and the pasta is never overcooked. I have had both the Cajun chicken pasta and the spaghetti with meatballs. Sokalata easily has the best red sauce in the Kanawha Valley! I am looking forward to trying the pizza and calzones next. Also: There is plenty of parking, a drive-thru pickup window and the ladies room is always clean and fully stocked.

My husband brought me and my coworker a large Greek salad with chicken, extra dressing, and ranch. It was phenomenal! The best salad I have ever had from there or any other place. My coworker agreed! The only negative I have, is that the chicken I remember being grilled, but this time it was pure white and had gristle. I’m picky about my meat, and prefer it dark anyways, but that did not change the flavor of my salad. I think I’ll just order it without chicken next time because it truly doesn’t need it.

I am probably the biggest fan this place has. The food is absolutely fantastic. Best tzatziki sauce anywhere, hands down. I could eat a bowl of it. Homemade chips are delicious. If I must choose...the chicken pita is my absolute favorite!! And the price for everything is beyond fair. Every server is wonderful as well. The environment is so welcoming, friendly, and laid back. I hope Sokolata stays forever.

Today was my first time trying Sokolata, and I was very happy with my experience. The restaurant itself looked clean and we were taken care of quickly after coming in. We placed our order and had our food within probably 10 minutes. I got the Famous Gyro, some chips, a Cheesecake, and some baklava. The Gyro was excellent, the sauce and toppings were very flavorful and fresh, and the flavor of the meat was great as well. The chips were the biggest surprise. I'm not sure if they make them in the restaurant or if they're a purchased brand, but I could've eaten 2 lbs of those chips. They had a great salty potato flavor, and were thick cut but not difficult to bite into. They were very good. The baklava was very sweet and flaky, with very good balance of flavors as well. Just watch out for the cloves lol. The Cheesecake was good as well, but not as good as the rest of the things I had today. Sokolata has a very full menu, and if the rest is as good as the things I tried today, I'm looking forward to trying other things. The Gelato flavors looked delicious too, but didn't have time to try any out today. Definitely give them a try if you haven't!
